Line C – lot 2 of Toulouse metro

NGE is carrying out the construction of a 8.4 km-long tunnel, 6 stations and 5 related intersection structures of the future line C of the Toulouse metro.

The project includes the use of two next-generation tunnel boring machines, of fibre-reinforced concrete segments using less steel in 95% of the projects, manufactured in a new local plant, co-owned by the consortium.

The consortium has committed to reduce its carbon footprint of the site: recycling 90% of excavated materials, using primarily renewable energy, clean vehicles or also eco-designed and low-consumption installations.

This third line of metro in Toulouse reinforced the sustainable mobility range of solutions for inhabitants of the metropolis.
