NGE’s Innovation Department selects projects for which it believes it can create real value.
Projects considered for support must demonstrate sufficient economic potential, with an indicative threshold of at least €100,000 in potential construction work for NGE.

A model tailored to each project’s stage of maturity
Project with an identified client and secured funding
The project already has:
- An identified client
- Secured funding
NGE’s Innovation Department can provide support with no upfront fees.
It is compensated only if its involvement results in construction work being awarded to NGE.
Success-based fee
- 10% on construction work up to €500,000
- 5% on construction work up to €1 million
- 2% on construction work exceeding €1 million
Project without a client or secured funding
NGE’s Innovation Department supports project development on a time-and-materials basis.
Rates
- €2,500 per day
- €10,000 per week
Only the days or weeks of support actually provided are billed.
Support may include
- Project scoping and clarification

The Cercle Innovation by NGE x ConTech France
Located at the heart of NGE’s offices in Issy-les-Moulineaux, the Cercle Innovation by NGE x ConTech France is an operational innovation hub dedicated to scaling solutions that transform construction, infrastructure, and related technologies.
Its ambition is to eventually welcome 100 startups and give them the opportunity to test their solutions against real-world conditions, including jobsites, industry practices, markets, and customer needs. The goal: to turn concepts and prototypes into robust, deployable solutions capable of delivering a positive impact at scale.
The hub also draws on the ConTech France ecosystem to foster collaboration among startups, large corporations, investors, public-sector organizations, and industrial partners.
Startups working in construction and related technologies are invited to apply, including those focused on artificial intelligence, data, energy, materials, water, mobility, decarbonization, circularity, and innovative construction methods.
