NGE completes acquisition of SADE
NGE completes acquisition of SADE, a €1.2 billion water networks and construction company, strengthening its water and ecological transition offerings accross 17 countries.
The NGE Group announces the acquisition of the company SADE on February 29, 2024, a specialist in the design, construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance of water and energy networks.
This strategic external growth operation strengthens NGE’s capabilities and expands its offering in the water sector. It will be consolidated under a new business unit called ‘Water Cycle’. SADE’s activities will complement NGE’s expertise in networks and associated infrastructures.
A strategic operation to address water challenges.
The acquisition of SADE, a historical company known for its technical expertise and know-how in water networks (drinking water, sanitation, and other specific networks), and associated infrastructure, brings a new dimension to the NGE Group.
In a context where environmental issues, especially the preservation of water resources and the rehabilitation of networks, are growing ever more pressing, the integration of SADE offers the Group an opportunity to position itself as a leading player in supporting both public and private actors address the challenges around the water as a resource and the ecological transition.
