The new Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles is a complex project that gives the teams of NGE the opportunity to apply their multi-expertise model by bringing together their Urban Infrastructures & Earthworks, Geotechnical & Safety Contracting and Building Construction subsidiaries. All worked on Work Package 1: Extended Shell Construction between November 2016 and May 2019. The new photography graduate school is scheduled to open to students in September 2019

NGE opened its railway subsidiary TSO in 1987 to work in close cooperation with the ENR (Egyptian National Railways) and to develop rail transport, a sustainable mobility solution, across the country.
Our rail experts work on several construction and maintenance projects, on various types of networks: metro, conventional and high-speed lines.

In Egypt, the Group took part in the Banha-Port Saïd line upgrade in the north of the country, the construction of Cairo metro lines 1 and 3 and of the LRT 10th of Ramadan.

Our experts have references in rail construction, maintenance and upgrade projects, on different types of networks: metro and interurban lines (passengers and freight). NGE began its activity in Uruguay in 2018 with the Ferrocarril Central project, a 273km railway line connecting the UPM cellulose plant in Pasos de los Toros to the Montevideo harbour. In this PPP (Public-Private Partnership), NGE took part in both the funding, with its subsidiary NGE CONCESSIONS and the construction of this major infrastructure project, involving many expertise of the Group such as earthworks, roads and utilities and railway.

We provide a comprehensive service for water supply and wastewater drainage networks. We are expert in all the techniques involved in the collection, piping and treatment of wastewater, the replacement and interconnection of water abstraction pipelines and associated hydraulic structures, drinking water treatment, and the installation and fit-out of dry networks, especially those for electricity supply.

We are also well known for our expertise in optical fibre network engineering to facilitate the rollout of FttH (Fibre-to-the-Home) to areas not already served. Bridging the digital divide is a live and substantial social and regional development issue, and we are very proud to be part of the solution.
