NGE FONDATIONS has revived a process long overlooked in France for use in one of the country’s most beautiful mediaeval masterpieces: timber deep pile foundations are now being used for two new buildings on the Château de Guédelon estate: the refectory and cloakrooms. An eco-responsible and entirely traditional technique.
