NGE secure its first railway contract in Morocco for the ONCF
NGE Group has secured its first railway contract in Morocco with an ambitious project: Lot 3 of the railway line extension between Kenitra and Marrakech, along with the development of Casablanca hubs, in connection with the future High-Speed Rail (HSR) Line. This contract strengthens NGE's presence in mobility infrastructure within rapidly growing economies across the #MENA region (Middle East and North Africa).
This large-scale railway project, led by the ONCF, involves overhauling the existing conventional railway infrastructure to make way for the new HSR line, while also increasing capacity on the existing lines.
Jean Bernadet, President of NGE, welcomes this strategic signing: “Supporting Morocco in the development of infrastructure that serves the country’s economic growth is a true source of pride for NGE. Contributing to this large-scale project, led by the ONCF, aimed at increasing railway capacity, aligns with the purpose of our actions: our strategic ambition is to build structures that address the challenges of ecological transition, particularly by developing low-carbon mobility infrastructure. Our teams, recognized for their expertise, are fully committed alongside the ONCF to ensuring the success of this project and making it one of our many references in Morocco.”
